Our family has enjoyed generations of fun and recreation on Worthley Pond in Peru, Maine. The memories for us have been great and we trust The Farm can provide the same for you.
Schedule your barn wedding at The Farm at Worthley Pond. Your family and guests will enjoy this remodeled, yet rustic 1850 barn, located on 2.2 acres, nestled in a beautiful mountain valley surrounded by rolling hills. Located on a sparkling clear lake with a private sandy beach only 125 yards from the barn that is perfect for a ceremony with a backdrop of hills and water. Fire pit down by the beach. The barn can accommodate up to 130 banquet guests and if you choose can also host your ceremony. Only 40 miles from the Appalachian Trail and the large peaks of the White Mountains, these surroundings present the beauty of New England as a setting for your special day.
The Farm at Worthley Pond is an ideal location for outdoor Weddings and now because of our remodeled barn, Barn Weddings. Since 2004 The Farm at Worthley Pond has hosted on average 20 weddings per year. The sizes of the gatherings have been as small as 50 and as large as 300 guests. The 2.2 acre grounds that overlook a private beach and mountain range could accommodate even more than 200 guests as an outdoor wedding. As owners of The Farm at Worthley Pond, we will offer our wedding planning experience and links to local vendors. The ideal seasons for Maine outdoor weddings and Barn Weddings are late spring and early fall. However, we welcome summer weddings in July and August. The Farm grounds and barn offers plenty of space for banquets, dance floors, serving tents, picnic tables, and recreation. The farm house also offers facilities for housing the wedding party, food preparation and rehearsal dinner. The farm has banquet tables and chairs for 160 guests. Pub tables and chairs add another 24 guests.
Inside the farmhouse there is a bridal suite which doubles as a family room to get ready for your big day and gather with friends and family. The game room offers another space for getting ready and gathering for games or puzzles.

The Farm at Worthley Pond is located 3 hours north of Boston's Logan Airport and 1 ½ hour north of Portland. It is located between Rumford, Bethel, and Auburn, Maine. The year-round facility offers a secluded mountain setting. Our Wedding Packages are for 3-7 days and include private use of all facilities.
