About Us

Our family has enjoyed generations of fun and recreation on Worthley Pond in Peru, Maine. It is a place where love is celebrated not just as an event, but as an experience—harmonizing water, sky, and spirit into a moment that lingers long after the day has passed. The Farm is a place where love is consecrated, promises are sanctified, and a shared spiritual journey begins with meaning and grace. The memories for us have been great and we trust The Farm can provide the same for you.

We offer water view tent weddings at The Farm, a setting that provides an atmosphere of devotion, grace, and divine presence. Your family and guests will enjoy this beautiful property, located on 2.2 acres, nestled in a beautiful mountain valley surrounded by rolling hills. Located on a sparkling clear lake with a private sandy beach. The space encourages a deeper connection—not only between partners, but also with family, community, and spiritual tradition. Ceremonies often take place down by the water in a grassy clearing beneath a simple arbor adorned with the flowing fabrics, wildflowers, or sacred symbols the wedding party creates. The environment encourages mindfulness and presence, allowing couples and guests to feel grounded and connected—not only to each other, but to the earth itself with a backdrop of hills and water. The 40’ x 60’ tent can accommodate up to 100 banquet guests and if you choose can also host your ceremony. Only 40 miles from the Appalachian Trail and the large peaks of the White Mountains, these surroundings present the beauty of New England as a setting for your special day.

Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of lakeside living with a variety of on-site water activities designed for relaxation and adventure. Guests are welcome to take advantage of the peaceful shoreline for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply unwinding by the water’s edge. Worthley Pond provides the perfect setting for morning paddles, afternoon fun, or quiet sunset views. Whether you're seeking a refreshing escape or a moment of serenity, our lakeside setting invites you to fully embrace the natural surroundings and make lasting memories by the water. Swimming invites you to move beyond the physical and experience water as a space for renewal, reflection, and connection. As you enter the water, let each movement become intentional—each breath slow, each ripple a reminder of presence. The gentle embrace of the lake encourages you to release tension, quiet the mind, and reconnect with your inner stillness. Whether floating beneath the open sky or gliding through calm waters, this practice becomes a form of meditation—where body, mind, and spirit align. It is not about distance or speed, but about surrender, awareness, and the simple act of being held by nature. In this space, swimming can transform into a sacred ritual—one that restores, grounds, and awakens a deeper sense of peace within.

Bring your day to a close with a relaxing fire down by the beach while listening to the loons calling out as the sun is setting. Fire has long been a symbol of transformation, warmth, and sacred connection. In a spiritual setting, gathering around the flame becomes more than a simple moment—it becomes a ritual of release and renewal. As the fire crackles and dances, it invites you to let go of what no longer serves you and to set intentions for what you wish to call in. The glow of the flames creates a space for reflection, storytelling, and quiet connection, where time slows and presence deepens. Whether shared in community or experienced in solitude, the fire offers both comfort and clarity—illuminating not only the night, but the inner self. Here, fire is not just warmth—it is a living element, a guide, and a sacred witness to moments of transformation and intention.
